This year was the Golden Globes 75th Awards and celebrities united in wearing black in support of the numerous sexual harassment cases that have flooded Hollywood of late. So if you need inspiration for your red carpet dress, below are our favorite looks from this year’s Golden Globes.
First up is Mandy Moore. Tall in stature, Mandy can easily pull of a dramatic red carpet dress. This year she did exactly that, Beautiful cascading double train and a bright red waist band. She finished this look with a classic red lip and red jewelry.
We can’t have a dress round up without including one of the members of the Kardashian clan, this time it is Kendall. She wore a quirky and feminine mullet length ballgown with a waterfall train that swept the red carpet as she walked. She completed her look with minimal jewelry and stylish black heels that did not take away any of the spotlight of her red carpet dress.
Nicole Kidman, the elegant porcelain skinned actress always makes black dresses look outstanding. She wore a unique lace bodice with ethereal lace detail on the back with a simple fitted skirt that compliment the design perfectly. She accessorized her red carpet dress with a combination of black and silver jewelry.
Next on the red carpet line is Catherine Zeta Jones, who embraced the black and nude trend head on. Keeping on trend, she also had a dramatic tulle train. The deep plunging neckline made way for her unique choice of emerald earrings to dazzle through her dark hair. Catherine also wore an emerald green stoned ring which accentuate this dress’ beautiful sleeve detail.
Lastly, is the ‘oh so elegant always’, Jessica Biel. Jessica went for an old Hollywood look for the evening. Her sweetheart ballgown showed off her perfectly toned shoulders and arms, and not forgetting her vintage style earrings. Perfectly poised was this actress in her nude and black tulle ballgown.
